Steve Scholle plays shakuhachi in a Kol Nidre Concert
The Kol Nidre is the sacred musical prayer that opens the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur.  This concert is a compilation of performances, film clips and oral history about the music of Kol Nidre.  I will be performing a piece I composed for the CD "A Prayer for the Missing: an offering for the victims of 9-11".  I composed the piece and perform it on the shakuhachi, the traditional Japanese bamboo flute.
