Miss Tess & The Talkbacks reach the Urban H2O stage on the tail end of the Sweet Talk album release tour, which includes shows at The Living Room in NYC and The Field House in Philadelphia.

In addition to Tess’s tasty licks and prowess on her 1940s archtop guitar, the current lineup includes Will Graefe on guitar, Larry Cook on upright bass, and Matt Meyer on drums. Inspired by styles of vintage swing, blues, country, and early rock-n-roll Miss Tess draws comparisons to artists such as Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Peggy Lee, and Chuck Berry, but maintains a style all of her own.

A native of Somers, New York, Scott Urgola is an up and coming alt/indie singer-songwriter with a refreshingly raw sound. He balances an innate sense of realism driven by engaging melodies and introspective lyrics.Some of Scott’s biggest influences are Woody Guthire, John Lennon, Tom Waits, Joe Strummer and Dan Bern. Urgola has released two full-length solo albums of original material, his 2005 debut Restoration Lullaby  and his latest work Now’s The Time.
