On October 25th, Tribes Hill and the Beczak Environmental Education Center will launch 'UrbanH2O', a new live performance venue on the Hudson River. Year round, UrbanH2O will present our finest regional artists, as well as emerging artists of merit, in Beczak's spacious interpretive center and on their two-acre riverfront lawn.

At River Songs, Tribes Hill artists will perform original music celebrating our mighty Hudson River as part of the Hudson-Fulton 2009 Quadricentennial. The Quadricentennial recognizes the 400th anniversary of the voyages of discovery made by Henry Hudson as well as the 200th anniversary of Robert Fulton's steamship travels along the Hudson River.

Our show will feature special guests Rick Nestler, Mel & Vinnie, Victorio Roland Mousaa and noted Hudson Valley storyteller, Jonathan Kruk. They will be joined on the stage by Joe Duraes, Great Blue, Eddie Denise, Marc Black, Judy Kass, Matt Turk, Joe Iadanza, The YaYas, Iris Cohen, Spuyten Duyvil, Steve Kirkman, James Durst, Fred Gillen Jr., Eric Puente, Andrew V. Craig, Phil Dollard, Madhumita Chakrabartti and Pete Tamburrini.

The event will be video taped for inclusion in the production of a DVD featuring a previously filmed interview with Pete Seeger at his home near Beacon and a slide show sampling of paintings by the artists of the Hudson River school.

Steps from the Downtown Yonkers Amtrak and MetroNorth station and with ample free parking, the Beczak Environmental Education Center is a non-profit environmental education facility that presents exhibits and programs for all ages to raise environmental awareness and to encourage informed stewardship of the Hudson River, the Saw Mill River and the Bronx River.
