Fred Arcoleo Occupies Gizzi039s with Rally Folk Music
Fred will be kicking off a triple-header with fellow Tribes Hiller, Larry Kolker (8 pm) and Human Hands (9 pm) at this comfy Village haunt with tasty eats and he plans to shake the walls.

Joined by the lovely Amy Soucy on harmony vocals, Fred will perform songs off his first CD, "SEEDS," as well as some new numbers, dedicating the evening to the poignancy of the Occupy Wall Street movement, with his and his students' adventure stories about Occupy origins, intrigue, & events. We'll include excerpts from his students' compelling soon-to-be-published "We Are the 99 Percent" declarations.

Fred is a New York City high school English, creative writing, & art teacher, & practicing artist whose deepest desire in life is to help influence the way the world changes. He writes songs & poems that strive to reveal the contradictions in our society between appearance & reality, & spends most of his time channeling his anger over the conditions of life that exist for so many into productive activities. He is particularly interested in the role music & the arts can play in raising awareness of societal issues & inspiring people to study & act on the pressing challenges of our time.

Join us for a fresh & inspiring evening. : )
