Shirl Lawrence and Steve Kaplan (a/k/a the singing duo Great Blue) have been singing together for more than 3 decades. Their music reflects their deep respect for those who work with their hands, those who teach, and those who struggle to make this world fit for our children. Their tunes, (greatly influenced by Kate Wolf and by Pete Seeger’s Hudson River approach to music), appeals to people of all ages.

This is Great Blue's first solo outing at Annie Molloy's Irish Castle. We've played with others in this wonderful room opposite the bar. The proprietor Pat Stuart and the wait staff are warm and superlative, and the drinks are wet. We'll plan on having Pat join us on "The Dutchman". Listen to us in the Listening Room (nice wood), or talk with your friends at the bar. We'll be having a great time. Hope you will, too!
