Groovin’ in New Fairfield is proud to offer an exciting workshop “Getting Unstuck” with Abbie Gardner on September 24, 2016 from 2-4pm. Abbie Gardner is an award-winning songwriter and founding member of the Americana trio Red Molly. She has studied songwriting and music theory and has taught at both The Swannanoa Gathering and Summer Songs. Join Abbie for an intimate writing workshop with lots of hands-on participation. The songwriting exercises we’ll do together are fun, practical and useful for unblocking creativity. Experienced songwriters as well as beginners can all benefit from this class. Please bring paper, something to write with, an instrument (if you play one), and a recording device (smart phone is fine) if possible. The workshop will be held at the New Fairfield Senior Center (33 Route 37, New Fairfield, CT) from 2-4pm on September 24, 2016. Fee is $40.
