· Develop your songcraft and explore lyric voices
· Access places inside where songs come from
Here’s what participants in our previous workshop series' had to say:
"This was a wonderful series. Your hospitality, encouragement and enthusiasm was really appreciated."
"Loved it. Each instructor brought something different and complemented each others' classes. Introduced to some great songwriters. Sharing and feedback was great".
"I truly enjoyed the sessions. I felt very comfortable sharing my songs and I appreciated all the feedback. I absolutely loved hearing the songwriters describe and play their songs. It gave me a better understanding of how they write their music."
"The best parts? Meeting and listening to the other participants. They were as encouraging as the teachers. What teachings stood out? They were all different, which made a total whole".
"It was a positive, creative space with a good, open vibe. Having it at Steve's house was beautiful and generous of him."
"Loved: - Hearing from a collection of diverse and very impressive songwriters about their processes - and then getting to hear them play!!!
- Learning from the rest of you - hearing your songs and the stories behind them, watching them evolve.
- Belonging to a supportive community where I felt we were truly doing this sacred thing. Steve, you set this tone, and opened your home and heart - I'm so grateful that you do this."

Stephen Scholle, stephenscholle.bandcamp.com
Over the years, in my work as a psychologist and acupuncturist, I’ve guided folks toward a felt-sense of things, that river which impels our deeper resources. So when I started creating songs a decade ago I trusted in this process, and it’s been… fecund.
This is the 5th in this series and the first produced independently of Tribes Hill, the collaborative community of musicians and music lovers centered in the lower Hudson Valley. For more on Tribes Hill please visit www.TribesHill.com.
