"Andrew playfully describes his music on his myspace site as "Pseudo Jazz". Though I think he was trying to be modest , this tag has often been used by music critics to describe a spurious genre. In contrast I find Andrew's music to be quite genuine. After an enjoyable listening to his new EP "Beautiful You" late one night I found in it qualities that could be expressed easily with the metaphor of a dessert wine or perhaps more accurately an espresso. The defining characteristics of espresso include a thick consistency and a serving size that is usually measured in shots. It is both complex and volatile. Playing with Andrew V Craig are:
Chris Fox is a  guitar player/songwriter and long time friend. He is also a  performer with his own band Mojo Monde who play extensively in our area. Chris has a new cd of original music coming out soon.
Wally Irizarry is a  long time friend, neighbor and bass player with such groups as 'Seguida" and Santana tribute band "Taboo" . Besides playing with Andrew, Wally can be heard playing bass for composer,Phillip Glass son, Zach Glass, latin big band PRNY and Ruben Gonzales.
Martin Sobol is a drummer/percussionist/ music therapist,  good friend and a student of drum legend, Bobby Sanabria. Some of his credits include playing for rapper Matisyahu and composer David Amram. He is also the music therapist at Schnurmacher Rehabilitation  in White Plains,N.Y.
Gwen Laster is a violinist/composer/educator /good friend ,who has played with such notables as Alicia Keyes , Rhiana and jazz composer Anthony Braxton (to name a few). She is adept at playing and composing in  many styles of music.She presently also conducts jazz workshops for string players using her own methodology.
Andrew V. Craig -acoustic piccolo bass guitar/singer-songwriter/educator was a student of bass and composition teachers :Jack Messing,Arnold Schnitzer, Dr. Lynn Christie and Irwin Stahl. He has performed his music in the Bitter End, Kenny's Castaways and The Tarrytown Music Hall (to name a few). He is
a father of five (three of them- born at home) ,a believer in the power of the human spirit  and a Tribes Hill member.
