Scoot Horton is based in Westchester County, NY and plays acoustic music with country, folk, americana influences. He has released 2 demos and is working on his first full length cd. Scoot is relatively new to playing solo acoustic shows but he has been performing and touring for over 20 years in various bands. Yes it's true that Scoot came up in the NY Hardcore Punk scene but he always had a passion for Woody Guthrie, The Carter Family, Johnny Cash, and Bob Dylan. Now he has put down his electric guitar and picked up his acoustic guitar.  He plays whenever he can and can be seen at open mice regularly when he's not playing a show.
