Rod MacDonald began his singing career in New York’s Greenwich Village, and has since made 13 recordings and played major festivals throughout the US, Europe and Australia. His inspiring and thought-provoking songs have also been recorded by numerous other singers, and his independent cds often reach the top ten in national roots music charts. He and bassist Mark Dann have been performing together since 1976, with 40+ tours in Europe to their credit, as documented in “Rod and Mark Live”, filmed at the Music-Star club in Germany in 2017.
