Westchester's Greatest Hits 9/21/08
Dear Tribes Hill Members,
Once again Tribes Hill is on the grant-writing trail. We are applying for a NYSCA grant from the Westchester Council for the Arts to produce our largest show yet, September 21, 2008 at the Tarrytown Music Hall celebrating musicians, singer-songwriters, and composers who have called Westchester their home. Those who are selected will be asked to perform at least one of their own songs and at least one rendition of a song written by a notable Westchester recording artist. These selected performers must have at some point lived in Westchester County. Additional musicians will be invited to participate in at least one of several ensemble renditions of celebrated songs. These participating musicians need not be from Westchester.
Please let us know by this Saturday, September 15th if you are interested in participating by responding to this e-mail or to Mary Beth at redfishmb@hotmail.com. Please keep "Westchester's Greatest Hits" as the subject line. Please indicate your fee(s) for this event. Please indicate variables if solo or accompanied by your band if applicable.
IMPORTANT: We will also need a "commitment letter" via e-mail by Monday, September 17, 2007 indicating your availability and interest in participating in this event on the given date. Please put "commitment letter" as the subject line
Those selected to participate will be notified by January 21, 2008.
