Annual Tribes Hill Music Festival

Tribes Hill is a nonprofit organization uniting musicians of the lower Hudson Valley region and their patrons in support of a music community that aspires to common goals and beliefs. It is a conceptual gathering place for people of all races, politics, and faiths coming together to explore and celebrate the human experience through song.

The Tribes Hill Music Festival takes place on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at John Jay Homestead in Katonah, New York from 11:00 am and into the early evening. The goal of the Festival is to introduce as many people as possible to the music community that is -- Tribes Hill - and to the beautiful grounds of the John Jay Homestead.

We expect the Festival to draw several hundred people from around the Hudson Valley to spend an afternoon in the outdoors listening to a great group of performers, including our headliners, Red Molly and the Sloan Wainwright Trio. You will be listed in the festival program.  Festival attendees can also enjoy song circles and activities for children.  We will have food, arts & crafts, and public service exhibitors.

This family friendly event combines live music performed on the main stage, as well as a “Circle of Song” performance area where festival goers are encouraged to bring their own instruments and voice and join in the fun.

Not only does undertaking an event like this require many volunteer man-hours, but also there are many expenses involved, just some of which are such things as stages, sound, publicity, performers, etc. Without sponsors, this event could not be held with the entertainment it provides at the low family friendly prices we’ve established.

All sponsorship tickets will be emailed.  Detailed information and tickets will be emailed to all sponsors approximately three weeks prior to the festival. Sponsors will be contacted to coordinate logo placement.

All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Our federal tax ID number will be made available upon donation. For inclusion in Festival advertising, donations must be received before August 15, 2014
